Catcher in the Rye Blog 2
I really like the book so far, but I also feel that the story is dragging on. When Salinger proposes a problem in the book, he begins to elaborate on it and then switches the focus to another story. Then he says something along the lines of "Anyway, I was talking about....". I enjoy reading the stories of Holden's past, but I feel like it's sometime irrelevant.

i completely agree with this.
the story got kinda boring after a while.
it's like salinger is just stretching out the story for his own amusement to torture the readers.
theres no climax, so i feel like its all just flat ground.
i also just realized the last part made no sense..
so forget that, haha :].
